You know a relationship is over when your significant other says: "We need to talk."
Those are words nobody wants to hear. And that doesn't just apply to dating.

LOL. Yeah, I've been in some of those.
But the way you sum it up in a few sentences makes it sound kind of funny.
Then things are usually humourous after the fact.
Things that don't kill you, you will laugh about later, I suppose.
Well, if you get hurt enough . . . and I've been hurt enough . . . you tend to toughen up.
I like to describe my soul (as in my feelings and stuff) to be pretty calloused over.
It's kind of difficult to pumice your soul.
Could "we need to talk" not also mean "I'm really sorry, I scorched your best shirt/blouse/dress/something with the iron"?
