Friends with Benefits
Remember that if you're in a casual relationship, kind of like the "friends with benefits" situation, it's probably not as great as it seems. The other person likely has feelings for you and is living in hope that your relationship will get more serious.

The friends with benefits situation is fun at first, but trust me, it gets messy.
I've always been a fan of the definition of platonic: "Transcending physical desire and tending toward the purely spiritual or ideal."
pghcitiboy,
That kind of gets into the whole debate over at Mad Dater's blog. She's discussing if you should be jealous of your significant other's friends.
Do you trust them when they say: "this is so-and-so, my platonic friend?"
But at the same time you don't want to be the possessive "you can't have any male friends" boyfriend.
Yes, she has male friends. Most girls do. But she isn't sleeping with all of them.
The thought might have come up over the years of friendship, but it was a flicker of a thought, and never discussed.
